Seattle!
Got ya, didn't I?
You thought I was going to say San Fransisco.
I love it there also.
But for this post I'm going to focus on Seattle because...
I.Fell.In.Love.With.It.
Started off the weekend at a Seattle Mariners game.
Self-pics are such fun!
Pike Peak Market.
The pictures speak for themselves.
Gorgeous.
San Juan Islands in Puget Sound.
Wonderful friends live there.
Paradise.
We saw sea lions....
and whales from their patio.
Yes, the black dots are really whales!
More impressive in person!
Wine tasting at Chateau St. Michelle.
Cheers!
Sailing. The wind. The wine. My guy. Who could ask for anything more? |
Ride the Ducks.
WWII amphibious landing craft.
Hilarious!
Ahhh...Seattle.
I'm coming back home to you ...someday!
Not really my home.
But it fit with the song .
This was an anniversary trip back in 2009.
Priceless memories.
Thanks for taking the trip down memory lane with me.
Looks like a lovely trip! You took some great photos. I've never been to Seattle but would LOVE to go. Hope you'll stop by my3littlebirds tomorrow to linkup a recipe for "What's for Dinner?"
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pictures! Thanks for sharing. I have never been to Seattle, but now it really makes me want to think about it!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Love the sea lion! I'm not going to admit that I thought it was an otter at first. Yeah, I'm a little sea-animal challenged, lol!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower from the Royal Affair hop!

I think I would really fit in well in Seattle...since I love the rain so much. Great photos! Glad to see you had such a nice time:) I went to Seattle when I was little once, but I don't remember too much about it. My mom was a flight attendant when I was growing up, and she was able to take us to many places. Some I remember, but others I have to rely on photos to prove I've been there, because I was just too young to have a memory of it.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Seattle but after seeing these pics, you make me want to add it to my bucket list!! I can't believe the view your friends have from their home of the ocean...wow!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a great anniversary trip. It's nice to look back and remember.....
ReplyDeletegreat pics. I am now following.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are breathtaking! You make me want to go to Seattle! That sea lion is too adorable. When I was in eighth grade we went on a field trip to Washington D.C. and we did a duck tour! It was really fun. :)
ReplyDeleteSeattle has been on my must visit list for awhile. I'd be happy to make any trip these days. Hard to keep my little ones healthy enough for travel.
ReplyDeleteO, how I dream of going there. I have never been but have always heard wonderful things about it. You two looked like you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteThat looks amazing! No wonder you love Seattle. And what cool thing to be able to step out on the patio and see whales. Wow!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your visits and comments on my blog by the way. And I love that you have tried our Swedish "snaps"(shot) song tradition. :-)
Have a lovely day.
